It also provides funding of conferences, workshops, tutorials, and other OpenMP-related events.
My background is in Computer Science. I obtained the German equivalent of an M.Sc. in 2003 from the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. I earned a Doctor of Engineering degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Science from the same university in 2008. My research focus was on compilers and runtime systems for distributed systems. My areas of interest include compiler construction, design of programming languages, parallel programming, and performance analysis and tuning.
